A hotel channel manager is software that connects a property to the online travel agencies (OTAs) it sells on and keeps the rates and number of rooms on every one of them in sync. When a room sells on one channel, the channel manager reduces availability on all the others within seconds, and every new reservation flows back into the hotel’s own system.

Will a channel manager stop double bookings?
Yes — that is its main job. ANX keeps one inventory for every channel and your front desk. When a room sells anywhere, availability drops everywhere in the same moment, and a cancellation puts the room back on sale everywhere.
Do I need a separate PMS?
No. The channel manager is built into the ANX PMS — check-in, Stay View, folios, night audit and GST invoices — so OTA bookings never have to be re-typed into another system.
Do I keep my own OTA accounts and contracts?
Yes. Your listings, reviews and commercial terms stay with you. You authorise ANX inside each OTA’s extranet — the same step every channel manager needs — and you can remove that access at any time.
How long does setup take?
ANX itself is set up in under an hour: room categories, rates and the calendar. Each OTA then approves the connection on its own side, which can take a little longer depending on the OTA.
Can I see what I actually receive from each OTA booking?
Yes. A prepaid OTA booking shows the net payable — the gross amount less the OTA’s commission with GST on it, TCS and TDS — and a pay-at-hotel booking shows the amount to collect from the guest.
